Welcome to the garden.
This is not a polished portfolio. It is a living map of the things I build, study, repair, imagine, test, abandon, rediscover, and occasionally set loose in public.
I’m David, sometimes known as Missing and other times known as Curator. I make art, build systems, design networks, keep bees, work with radios, think about community infrastructure, and routinely discover that five unrelated projects are actually one enormous project wearing different hats.

[2026.07] NETWORK: Developing resilient mesh and LoRa experiments for festivals, local infrastructure, and places where the internet becomes unreliable or irrelevant.
[2026.07] FABRICATION: Continuing to shape the fabrication-lab ecosystem: part repair bench, part classroom, part strange-object hatchery.

3D printing, repair, low-voltage systems, festival hardware, art objects, and objects that cannot decide whether they are tools or creatures.

The human in the loop
I have spent a large portion of my life building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and translating systems. Technical systems. Physical systems. Organizational systems. Human systems, when they permit it.
This site is where those threads are allowed to cross without asking permission. It contains practical work, artistic work, community work, unfinished questions, and the broader Esoteric Systems ecosystem growing around all of them.
Operating principle: useful does not have to be boring, beautiful does not have to be useless, and strange is often just a pattern waiting for the right observer.
